FAQ

Until now, doctors have had no way to accurately predict the likelihood of Coronary Heart Disease - which is caused by the build-up of plaque in the coronary arteries. CHD kills more Americans than any other disease, yet it usually goes undiagnosed until the damage has been done.

Conventional risk factors, such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, and cigarette smoking will only identify about half of those at risk for heart attacks.

The simple truth is that many people with normal cholesterol levels get heart attacks, while many people with elevated cholesterol levels remain free of problems.
