Insurance / Financials

Midwest Cardiovascular Center (MCC) participates with many insurance plans and accepts Missouri Medicare assignment.
Prior to admission

As a courtesy to patients, our billing department will verify your insurance coverage and coordinate pre-certification requirements.
Day of procedure

Please help us by presenting current insurance cards on the day of your procedure and informing us of any recent changes.
Billing

Your MCC claim will be filed directly to your insurance carrier(s). Any charges not covered by insurance such as deductibles, co-pays, or co-insurance will be the patient’s responsibility. You will receive a separate bill for professional services rendered by your physician.
PRE-CERTIFICATION WITH ALL INSURANCE COMPANIES MUST BE DONE BY THE ORDERING PHYSICIAN!

Medicare, Medicaid, TriCare & any other governmental agency billing will be done GLOBALLY by physician.

Commercial (non-network plans) - generally yes – CALL!
