Scope of Services
Available Services
Midwest Cardiovascular Center (MCC) provides diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in a freestanding outpatient facility. MCC’s clinical team will provide all of the necessary information, education, and support before, during, and after your procedure. Services provided at MCC include:
  • Cardiac Catheterization


  • Cardiac catheterization is performed to evaluate:

    1) Coronary Arteries - through angiography proper circulation to the heart muscle is determined.

    2) Pressures in all chambers of the heart - a diagnosis can be made for the following
    • valve stenosis
    • septal defects
    • Pulmonary Hypertension
    3) Right or left Ventricular Function - through angiography right or left ventricular function, or valve regurgitation can be determined.
  • Cartoid Angiography


  • Cartoid Angiography provides the visualization of the Cartoid arteries to detect inadequate circulation to the brain.
  • Peripheral Angiography


  • Peripheral angiography provides the visualization of the arteries to detect inadequate circulation in the upper and lower extremities.
