Donna Adamec, R.N.   Director
Donna Adamec is a Registered Nurse who is BLS and ACLS certified. Her scope of care has been the cardiac patient having worked in CCU/MICU for 11 years and most recently Cardiac Catheterization Lab at St. Anthony’s Medical Center for 11 years. She assisted in setting up the existing 4 labs, co-developer of the preceptor and teaching programs for the labs, clinical charge nurse for cardiac cath lab, cardiac cath recovery, and EP lab. Her duties included patient scheduling and flow, performance evaluations, and staffing.
Connie Kray, R.N.   Senior Registered Nurse
Connie Kray has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with 23 years of experience. She is BLS and ACLS certified and has a strong background in the care of cardiac patients, including 10 years CCU/MICU and 11 years in Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at St. Anthony’s Medical Center. She also has experience as a nursing supervisor, charge nurse and preceptor. She is experienced in development and implementation of nursing competencies, policy and procedures, staff orientation, and continuing education programs.
Martha Wenger, R.N.  
Martha Wenger has been a Registered Nurse since 1977. She is BLS and ACLS certified with a CCRN Certification. She has been in the cardiac cath lab at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center since 1986, achieving competence as circulator, monitor and scrub tech. Her main duties from 1992 to 1999 have been in the supervising capacity for Cardiac Cath, Cath Recovery, EP lab and Echo lab.
Karen Schnitzler, R.N.  
Karen Schnitzler has been a Registered Nurse since 1983. She is BLS and ACLS certified. Her scope of care includes 6 years at Barnes Hospital taking care of medical/surgical patients. Duties including charge nurse, preceptor and serving on the policy and planning committee. In the last 5 years, her emphasis has been on the cardiac patient, working in cardiopulmonary, cardiac cath lab and cardiac rehab.
Traci Moore, R.N.  
Traci Moore is a registered nurse with a BSN since 1994. She is BLS and ACLS certified. She worked in the MICU and CCU for 2 years. Her duties included charge nurse, preceptor and scheduling committee. She then worked in special procedures and Cardiac Cath Lab for 5 years. This position included the scheduling of outpatient procedures as well as functioning as the charge nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab. She has been full time with Midwest Cardiovascular Center since February 2004.
Richard Hobbs, R.T.  
Richard Hobbs has been a Radiologic Technologist since 1988. He is BLS and ACLS certified. He has worked in the Cardiac Cath Lab at Barnes Jewish for 2 years, and is proficient in recording hemodynamics, scrubbing, operating and troubleshooting the equipment.
Kelly Lewis, R.T.  
Kelly Lewis has been a registered Radiologic Technologist since 1983, specializing in Cardiovascular-Interventional Technology since 1995. She is BLS and ACLS certified. A member of the American Registry of Radiologic Technology and American Society of Radiologic Technology. Her experience includes general radiology and special procedures from 1984 to 1993, which also includes starting ACR Accreditation for mammography. She helped open a Cardiac Cath Lab in 1993 – 1997, followed by two years working as a scrub technician for open heart surgery. She then returned to working in Cardiac Cath Lab until present.
Margie Huelsing, R.M.A.  
Margie Huelsing is a Registered Medical Assistant and is BLS certified. Her background includes working as a customer service representative for a Medical Laboratory, working in a office, and working at St. Anthony’s Medical Center as a Nurse Assistant. As a customer service representative for a Medical Laboratory she has experience in medical lab operations and is able to help the customers with their questions and concerns. Working in a Medical Office and working as a Nurse Assistant at SAMC, she has experience in wide variety patient care.
Cindy Fricke, Concierge
Cindy Fricke, Concierge Cindy Frick has had many opportunities to serve the public including working several years as a legal secretary, being a tour operator in the St. Louis area, and most recently authoring a book that helps people overcome the addiction of overeating. As an inspirational speaker and owner of Cindy’s Weigh, L.C., Cindy shares her lifelong struggles and successes regarding this important subject.
